Showcase your creativity at Verbena with a guest residency in our Stirchley restaurant.

We’ve decided to take a well earned, extended break in May 2023 and we’re offering someone the opportunity to host a pop-up or residency in our South Birmingham restaurant.

Verbena is a modern British restaurant, that’s located right in the heart of Stirchley, a vibrant South Birmingham neighbourhood full of amazing independent businesses. Our community is incredibly supportive, and we have some fantastic regulars who are always excited to try out new guest hosts.

At Verbena, it's really important to us to support the hospitality sector especially during these tough times in the industry. That's why we're offering our space to give someone the chance to showcase their creativity while getting to know our community. We have a full spec professional kitchen and our cosy and intimate restaurant space seats up to 20 people. We’ll also do what ever we can to support you, to spread the word about your Verbena take over.

We've been lucky enough to collaborate with some of the best hospitality people in Birmingham, and our past residencies have included friends including Morridge, Blow Water, Buena Onda, Sugar and Salt, and Fire + Rice. Pop-ups have featured everything from delicious brunches to scrumptious dumplings, and our guests have always loved them.
